Sheriff: Eighteen arrested of 26 indicted on drug-related charges

Eighteen of the 26 people indicted on drug-related charges by an Anderson County grand jury in June and July have been arrested, Sheriff Paul White said Thursday. Four were arrested in June after the indictments were returned, and the other 14 have been arrested since Monday, the sheriff said in a press release.

The arrests are the result of long hours of hard work by investigators of the Sheriff’s Special Operations Unit, White said. The agencies that cooperated in the investigations were the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, the Clinton Police Department, the Oak Ridge Police Department, the Rocky Top (Lake City) Police Department, the 7th Judicial District Crime Task Force, and the District Attorney General’s Office.

“Our thanks for the teamwork from all the law enforcement agencies involved in these investigations,” which are ongoing, White said.

Here is the list of those arrested and their charges, as reported by the Sheriff’s Department:

  • William Dean Brown, 58, of Johnson Street in Rocky Top—manufacturing, delivering, or selling controlled substance—jailed on a $50,000 bond
  • Larnzy Lee Carpenter, 26, of Cedar Lane in Knoxville—simple possession or casual exchange (three counts)—released on $7,500 bond
  • Artaveus Demetrece Dawson, 30, of Trenton Road in Oak Ridge—manufacturing, delivering, or selling controlled substance; violation of community corrections; probation violation; failure to appear; hold for criminal court; and hold placed—jailed without bond
  • Kayvin Grate, 50, of Nevada Circle in Oak Ridge—possession of schedule II (two counts); possession of schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a firearm in commission of a felony; violation of the drug-free school zone—released on $79,000 bond
  • Brent Ashley Hayden, 31, of Carriage Square in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance (three counts); possession of a firearm in commission of a felony; simple possession or casual exchange; probation violation—jailed without bond
  • Norma Jean Hester, 63, of Massey Jones Lane in Rocky Top—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance; criminal conspiracy—released on $50,000 bond
  • Angela Christina Jacks, 37, of Paula Lane in Rocky Top—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—released on $50,000 bond
  • Kimberlee Inez King, 54, of Early Drive in Powell—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—released on $50,000 bond
  • Brandy Michelle Lindsay, 34, of Copeland Street in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—jailed on $25,000 bond
  • Ivan Elmer Lowe, 36, of Dossett Lane in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance (two counts)—jailed on $50,000 bond
  • Arthur Lynn Moore Jr., 38, of Marlow Road in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance (two counts)—jailed on $75,000 bond
  • Danny Paul Mowery, 54, of Tucker Road in Briceville—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance (three counts)—jailed on $150,000 bond
  • Corbin William Phillips, 22, of Ivanhoe Road in Powell—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—jailed on $50,000 bond
  • Tina Leeann Rauhuff, 46, of Mehaffey Road in Powell—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—released on $50,000 bond
  • Emma Lou Roaden, 31, of Marlow Road in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—jailed on $50,000 bond
  • Scotty Dewayne Robinson, 42, of Hemmer Road in Knoxville—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—released on $75,000 bond
  • Anthony Dallas Tucker, 39, of Carriage Place in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—jailed on $50,000 bond
  • Margo Alesha White, 26, of Old Lake City Highway in Clinton—manufacturing, delivering, or selling a controlled substance—jailed on $50,000 bond
