Three men charged with child rape, conspiracy, kidnapping

Three men have been indicted on child rape, conspiracy, and kidnapping charges. The Anderson County Grand Jury indicted the three on March 7.

The three men, all 20 years old, are Brandon James Campbell and Richard Bradley Howe of Oak Ridge, and Jacob Tate, whose address isn’t listed in the indictments. All three have been charged with rape of a child and especially aggravated kidnapping, both Class A felonies, and aggravated sexual battery and conspiracy to commit rape of a child, both Class B felonies.

Campbell and Howe face an additional child rape charge.

The child was younger than 13, according to the indictments. The alleged crimes occurred between February 7 and February 8, 2016, according to the indictments. [Read more…]
