Oak Ridge Today is a community website that provides regular news and event information for residents of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and the surrounding region. We typically publish Monday through Friday, but we also occasionally post on weekends.
Oak Ridge Today launched March 29, 2012, and it is co-owned by John and Dawn Huotari. John is a local reporter and writer who has worked at three East Tennessee newspapers: The (University of Tennessee) Daily Beacon, Knoxville News Sentinel, and The Oak Ridger. This is Dawn’s first media venture.
