CLINTON—The Clinch Bend Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, along with Anderson County government, will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War at noon today.

The commemorative event will be held at noon Tuesday, March 29, at the War Memorial in front of the Anderson County Courthouse in Clinton.

“Everyone is invited, but especially our Vietnam veterans,” said Gwen Cole, a member of the Clinch Bend Chapter of DAR. “We want to honor them and thank them.” [Read more…]
