A sixth-grade girl played wide receiver and cornerback for the Robertsville Middle School Rams this season.

It’s unusual but not unprecedented for a girl to play football, although it’s not clear if one has played wide receiver and cornerback before. Six Lady Wildcats scored against the Lady Red Devils on Tuesday. Senior Macy Barclay had three goals, and sophomore Zoe Van Hook and freshman Kate Hausladen each had two. Adding one goal each were senior Katie Welsh, junior Leah Scudder, and sophomore Alex Rouse.
