Pet of the Day: Clarise

Clarise is a sweet girl that just needs a chance. She came in looking a little rough and although she looks a little mean from this picture, she is really a total sweetheart. With proper care and nutrition she will be a real beauty.

In the meantime, she loves being pet and getting rubbed under her chin. We estimate that Clarice is about 3-4 years old.

Pet of the Day: Sasha

Sweet Sasha came into the shelter very scared and timid. She wants an adopter and is not shy about it. She demands attention, and we just can’t say no.

She is a young sweet dilute tortie with plenty of personality. She is curious and engaging and just an all-around good kitty. She’s about 10 months old, and she loves to do all the things a kitten would.

She’s available for adoption at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. [Read more…]

Pet of the Day: Mansi

Pet of the Day: Mansi

We have no idea why someone would surrender our little girl Mansi. She is easy to please, even a little timid at first, but awesome overall.

Mansi is housebroken, trained to sit stay and fetch, and is very sweet. Someone should snap this girl up quickly, as dogs usually do not come in so well-mannered.

She is a little on the meek side at the moment, but being in a shelter and being left by your owners, that is understandable if not a little bewildering. With a good owner that truly cares for her, she should be able to overcome this and become the lovely outgoing sweetheart we imagine she could be. [Read more…]

Flash is sweet, kind, and in need of a good home. Come see him down at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter!

As an added bonus, he is also sponsored at 50 percent off!

Shania is a sweet tortie point polydactyl (yes extra toes!) that has been at the shelter far longer than we would have imagined.

She has stunning eyes in multiple shades of blue and an amazing overall look. We still can’t figure out why no one has snapped her up yet. She’s gorgeous and has a good personality.

Come see her today and change her world. [Read more…]

Pet of the Day: Barry

Barry was surrendered with two much younger siblings, and he is not taking shelter life too well. He’s sad and scared, but sweet and likes to be petted.

We think in a loving home he will come out of his shell and be the awesome cat we know he is. For now, though, he is sitting and making himself small. He is not mean, but he is too scared right now to do much more than lay against the wall of his cage and stare at you with sad eyes. [Read more…]
