An Oliver Springs employee has tested positive for COVID-19, and City Hall will be closed to the public until August 3.
Oliver Springs officials learned of the positive diagnosis Monday morning. Other city employees are being tested.
The Oliver Springs Board of Alderman meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.
A city official urged residents to wear masks in public, maintain physical distances from people outside their home (six feet or more is generally recommended), and self-quarantine when appropriate.
More information will be added as it becomes available.
