The Oak Ridge Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died in a fiery three-vehicle crash on Highway 95 on Sunday.

Jeffrey Floyd, 23, of Clinton, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle driven by Patricia Scofield, 57, of Louisville at about 5 p.m. Sunday, the ORPD said in a press release. Both vehicles were almost completely engulfed in flames when officers arrived.

Also injured in the crash about one-half mile south of Bethel Valley Road was Gregory Bergen, 30, of Caryville. He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, the ORPD said.

“The Oak Ridge Police Department continues to conduct a thorough investigation of the accident, and no further information will be released until the investigation is completed,” the ORPD said.

Jeff, I’m having a hard time with your death. Me just being a friend of yours and your family, I can’t imagine how hard it is for them right now. It’s not going to be the same going over to the house, and you not being there cracking everybody up and making it a great time. You are deeply missed by everybody, and you will not be forgotten. Peace and love bro. R.I.P. Jeff
