An annual nonpartisan forum on Thursday will give you a chance to learn about issues and ask questions of local, state, and school officials.

The annual Pearls and Politics forum presents state legislators, local officials, and board of education members to the public, a press release said.

The forum is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Scarboro Community Center at 148 Carver Avenue in Oak Ridge.

“Your voice counts,” the press release said. “Learn the issues. Ask the questions. Hear the answers.”

The forum is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Oak Ridge Chapter, with co-sponsors City of Oak Ridge and League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge.

See the flyer above for more information.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
