A fantastic dining experience, right here at home? And you can help others at the same time? What else can you ask for!

On Monday, December 10, Mediterranean Delight, located at 160 Bus Terminal Road, will be featured as one of several local restaurants donating a portion of their sales to Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties (ADFAC). This cozy dining spot is perfect for take-out and offers a small dining area as well. Stop by to grab some of your favorite Mediterranean dishes on your way home from work or some quick early-week holiday shopping.

Other restaurants supporting ADFAC each month are Burchfield’s, Dean’s, Gallo Loco, Hoskins in Clinton, Outback Steakhouse, Razzleberry’s, Soup Kitchen, and Subway locations in Clinton (both), west Oak Ridge (1968 Oak Ridge Turnpike), Oliver Springs, and Rocky Top. A new restaurant is featured each month, but all of these restaurants have made a long-term commitment to help ADFAC serve our community, so visit any of these restaurants and show them your appreciation!

In 2018, several businesses supported ADFAC by sponsoring Dine & Donate. Leidos, UT-Battelle, CNS, and Randy McFarland—State Farm Agent were all sponsors, and media support has been provided by Oak Ridge Today.

Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, established in 1987, exists to support and serve those in need by assisting them in becoming stable and self-sufficient. ADFAC answers more than 6,000 requests for assistance each year through the Social Services, Affordable Housing, and School Supplies Programs.
