Support ADFAC through ‘Dine and Donate’ on Monday

On Monday, March 14, six local restaurants will donate a generous portion of their sales to support Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, or ADFAC.

Restaurants participating on Monday, March 14, are:

  • Gondolier in Clinton
  • Hoskins in Clinton
  • Mediterranean Delight in Oak Ridge
  • Outback Steakhouse in Oak Ridge
  • Razzleberry’s in Oak Ridge
  • Papa Murphy’s in Oak Ridge

Officially launched in October 2013, Dine and Donate is a yearlong event, with different restaurants participating on the second Monday of each month. Business sponsors of Dine and Donate in 2016 include Leidos, UT-Battelle, Enrichment Federal Credit Union, ORNL Federal Credit Union, Randy McFarland–State Farm Agent, J&M Butcher Shop, and Oak Ridge Today.

ADFAC, an independent nonprofit agency established in 1987, exists to serve the basic needs of primarily low-income residents in Anderson and surrounding Appalachian counties. ADFAC’s goal is to help families become stable and self-sufficient through a variety of direct assistance services provided by its Social Services and Affordable Housing programs. ADFAC answers more than 6,000 requests for assistance each year.
