Chris Stirewalt, digital politics editor for the Fox News Channel, will be the keynote speaker for the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s Program of Work Kickoff luncheon at noon on Monday, March 21. The luncheon will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton at 201 South Illinois Avenue.

At the luncheon, the Chamber’s 2016 Program of Work will be introduced. The Chamber’s Eugene L. Joyce Lifetime Achievement Award and the Kerry Trammell Volunteer of the Year award will be presented as part of the program.

Stirewalt has worked in the FNC’s Washington Bureau since 2010. He helps coordinate political coverage across the network, a press release said. His daily newsletter, “Fox News First,” has nearly 300,000 subscribers.

Stirewalt is also part of the Fox News Decision Desk team on election nights calling races, now for a fourth electoral cycle. Stirewalt also makes daily appearances on the network, including “The Kelly File,” America’s Newsroom,” “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace,” and “Special Report with Bret Bair.”

Prior to joining FNC, Stirewalt served as a political editor for The Washington Examiner where he wrote a twice-weekly column and led political coverage for the newspaper. He also served as politics editor at the Charleston Daily Mail and West Virginia Media. Stirewalt began his career at the Wheeling Intelligencer in West Virginia. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.

Cost to attend the luncheon is $50 per person for members of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. For non-members, the cost is $100 per person. Millennium Partners of the Chamber should contact Greta Ownby at (865) 483-1321 or ownby@orcc.org for information on their complimentary seats for the luncheon.
