The Anderson County Chamber of Commerce will host an industrial job fair to recruit employees for local industries on Thursday in Clinton.
The job fair is scheduled from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, October 16, at Roane State Community College’s Higher Education and Workforce Training Facility at 214 Nave Street in Clinton (at the Anderson County Fairgrounds). This one-day event allows job seekers to connect face-to-face with local industries seeking employees, a press release said.
As of last week, job fair exhibitors date included Aerotek at Nelson Global Products, Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee, Eagle Bend Manufacturing, Express Employment Professionals, PolyOne, Precision Resource Company, Roane State Community College, SL Tennessee, TempSystems/TSI Industrial, Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Knoxville, and Valley Apparel.
Attendees may be able to submit resumes, complete applications, schedule interviews and make contacts for future job openings. A tour of the Roane State Clinton facility will also be available for those interested in workforce training designed for local industry jobs. Admission and parking are free.
