There will be a fundraiser on Saturday, April 21, to help 15 local nonprofit organizations, including Keystone Adult Day Center in Oak Ridge and CASA the Tennessee Heartland.
The fundraiser, called the Wells Fargo Heels and Wheels Duathlon, will be held at Johnson University at 7900 Johnson Drive in Knoxville. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m.
The duathlon consists of a 5K run/18K bike/3K run that will benefit the Keystone Adult Day program as well as CASA, among others. Contestants can choose to take part in the entire race or the Fun Walk or 5K run. Competitors can race alone or on a team of two. There will be a kid zone with inflatables and lunch is included with your registration.
