Over the past decade (about 10.75 years), we have published 14,906 articles on Oak Ridge Today.

That’s about 1,386 posts per year, or close to four per day, every day.

We’re trying to bring you as much news as we can with a small staff, mostly one person.

If you value what we do and have done, please consider subscribing. You can subscribe for as little as $5 per month. A subscription gives you access to subscriber-only stories. These are generally the stories that are exclusive or require more time, effort, and money. A subscription also helps to keep us going. Reporting the news requires a significant amount of time and money.

Oak Ridge Today has been reporting on the COVID-19 pandemic in Tennessee, Anderson County, and Oak Ridge for more than four months. We’ve published about 200 stories about COVID-19 and how it’s affected us here. All of these stories have been free to readers.

If you appreciate our work and would like to help us continue providing this information, please consider subscribing to Oak Ridge Today.

You don’t have to subscribe to read most of our stories. Most are free, brought to you by Oak Ridge Today with help from our advertisers, subscribers, and sponsors.

But some are premium content. These are stories that generally require at least four hours to report, write, and publish. They include in-depth, investigative, and exclusive stories that are available only on Oak Ridge Today. These stories are available only to members (advertisers, subscribers, and sponsors).

Your subscription will give you access to this premium content.

It will also help us as we, like many other businesses, continue to operate with some financial strains during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We currently offer five primary subscription options, and they include benefits.

Basic

  • Basic monthly subscription ($5 per month)—access premium content
  • Basic annual subscription ($60 per year)—access premium content

Pro

  • Pro monthly subscription ($10 per month)—access premium content, get breaking news emails first, and submit one press release or public service announcement per month
  • Pro annual subscription ($100 per year)—save $20 per year, access premium content, get breaking news emails first, and submit one press release or public service announcement per month

Temporary

  • Temporary access ($3 per week for two weeks)

We also have advanced subscription options, including for those who want to submit multiple press releases or public service announcements per month. You can see the advanced options here.

We also accept one-time donations if you are interested in that option. You can learn more here.

If you want to send a check for a subscription, you may do so by mailing one to:

Oak Ridge Today

P.O. Box 6064

Oak Ridge, TN 37831

You may contact John Huotari at [email protected] for other payment options.

Thank you for your consideration. We appreciate your support.
