Continuous Threads has summer sewing camps

Continuous Threads Sewing Studio in Oak Ridge will offer summer sewing camps beginning June 10 and ending the week of July 29.

Sewing camps will meet daily from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each week-long camp is designed for boys and girls ages nine and up who want to learn how to sew using hand sewing and machine techniques. Continuous Threads Sewing Studio has one-week sewing camps this summer

Continuous Threads Sewing Studio is offering “2013 Blockbuster Sewing Camps” this year for boys and girls, ages 9 and up. Each camp lasts one week and meets daily from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If students have their own machines, they should bring them. A limited number of classroom machines are available for an additional cost. Each student should also bring a lunch.

Popcorn will be provided for each class, but campers should bring a brown-bag lunch. The camps are taught by Manderley Swain and Jeannie O’Brien.
