Temporary road closure for Halloween House

A temporary road closure is planned along part of Nebraska Avenue for Sunday, October 31, between 4 p.m. and 12 a.m. for the annual Halloween House.

“The closure is necessary to create a safer environment for drivers and pedestrians expected to visit the annual Halloween House residential attraction on Nebraska Avenue, between Newridge Road and Newhaven Road,” a press release said.

The small stretch of road will be blocked to through traffic. However, residents will still be able to get to and from their homes during this time.

Temporary road closure on Saturday for Halloween House

A temporary road closure is planned along part of Nebraska Avenue for Saturday, October 31, for the annual residential “Halloween House,” a press release said.

The temporary, partial road closure is scheduled for about seven hours, between 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 a.m. Sunday. It is necessary to create a safer environment for drivers and pedestrians expected to visit the “Halloween House,” which is on Nebraska Avenue between Newridge Road and Newhaven Road, the press release said.

“The small stretch of road will be blocked to through traffic,” the press release said. “However, residents will still be able to get to and from their homes during this time.”

A small portion of the 100 block of Nebraska Avenue between Newridge Road and Newhaven Road will be blocked to through traffic, a press release said. Residents will still be able to get to and from their homes during this time, the press release said.

The closure is necessary to create a safer environment for drivers and pedestrians expected to visit the annual “Halloween House” residential attraction, the press release said.

A temporary road closure is planned along part of Nebraska Avenue on Tuesday, October 31 (Halloween), between 6 and 10 p.m. for the “Halloween House.”

The closure was approved by the city in order to create a safe environment for drivers and pedestrians attending the annual “Halloween House” event, a press release said. That’s based on the large turnout of visitors last year.

A small portion of the 100 block of Nebraska Avenue, between Newridge Road and Newhaven Road, will be affected, the press release said. [Read more…]

Have you seen the Nebraska Avenue Halloween House? We stopped by today as the Scott family was putting the finishing touches on their elaborate attraction.

It takes them three solid months of work to get all these decorations in place. They give out tons of candy and see thousands of people pass through every Halloween.

In a week or so, it’ll all come down so they can start putting up their Christmas display. [Read more…]
