Free business workshop on March 18

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the University of Tennessee CIS-PTAC, will offer a free workshop on Tuesday, March 18, from 1-3 p.m.

The “Joint Venture and Teaming Agreements” workshop will discuss government regulations and requirements, as well as practical advice on how to put together your own successful team or joint venture. This presentation will also provide recommendations for strategies in competing for government contracts as part of a team. [Read more…]

Wednesday seminar focuses on writing proposals for government contracts

An all-day seminar Wednesday will provide tips and techniques to those writing proposals for government contracts.

The seminar runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Foundry, located at 747 World’s Fair Park Drive in Knoxville. The featured speaker is Kirste L. Webb, owner of PQC Solutions.

Wednesday seminar covers government contracts

An all-day seminar in Knoxville on Wednesday will cover the basics of government contracts, a press release said.

Laura Davis, president of Strategic Consulting Solutions, is the featured speaker. Seminar topics include contract costs and types, incurred cost submissions, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

The seminar is meant to help entrepreneurs and small business owners, and it’s scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Foundry in Knoxville.
