The Tennessee Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the University of Tennessee CIS-PTAC, will offer a free workshop on Tuesday, March 18, from 1-3 p.m.

The “Joint Venture and Teaming Agreements” workshop will discuss government regulations and requirements, as well as practical advice on how to put together your own successful team or joint venture. The seminar runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Foundry, located at 747 World’s Fair Park Drive in Knoxville. The featured speaker is Kirste L. Webb, owner of PQC Solutions.

An all-day seminar in Knoxville on Wednesday will cover the basics of government contracts, a press release said.

Laura Davis, president of Strategic Consulting Solutions, is the featured speaker. Seminar topics include contract costs and types, incurred cost submissions, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
