Alan Scott Harris
Alan Scott Harris, age 51, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, at the Methodist Medical Center.
He was born June 12, 1961, in Key West, Fla., the son of Jack and Shirley Hillis Harris.
Mr. Harris was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart. He was a deacon of New York Avenue Church of Christ. He also served on the board and several committees of the Marlow Volunteer Fire Department. He was a former board member of CASA and served the community on hundreds of VORP cases.
Mr. Harris was also an avid Wildcat fan and served on the Oak Ridge High School Football Boosters.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Jack Sherrill Harris, Jr. and grandson, Ja’Kai Wooden.
