Two men wanted on robbery charges were arrested after officers from the Oak Ridge Police Department entered a home on East Tennessee Avenue on Sunday evening, authorities said. One of the men was also wanted on charges that include attempted first-degree murder, statutory rape, and aggravated assault, the ORPD said.
The Oak Ridge Police Department said it learned at about 4 p.m. Sunday that brothers Joseph Garner Lee and Khristoff Deshawn Lee were at 442 East Tennessee Avenue.

Khristoff Deshawn Lee, 22, had multiple warrants for his arrest for charges of assault, attempted murder (first-degree), statutory rape, aggravated assault, and robbery, and Joseph Garner Lee, 26, had a warrant for his arrest for a robbery charge, the ORPD said.
ORPD Special Projects Unit and Patrol Division personnel verified that Joseph Garner Lee was present at the home, a press release said.
“Due to the nature of the charges and previous contacts with both individuals, at approximately 7:30 p.m., ORPD tactical officers entered the residence and arrested both individuals without incident,” the press release said.
Both men were indicted by the Anderson County Grand Jury on March 1.
The indictment for attempted first-degree murder alleges that Khristoff Lee tried to kill Baby Doe, the unborn fetus of a victim, on or about October 7, 2014. But the baby was born alive, authorities said.
The aggravated assault charge (strangulation) alleges that Khristoff Lee tried to strangle the victim on or about July 27, 2014, impeding normal breathing or blood circulation by “applying pressure to the throat or neck or by blocking the nose and mouth of (the victim),” according to the indictment.

Khristoff Lee is also charged with assault against the victim from an incident on or about October 17, 2014.
The statutory rape charge alleges that Khristoff Lee had sex with a victim who was 14 and 15 between January 1 and November 1, 2014, when he was at least five years older than the juvenile.
ORPD Detective John Criswell is a witness for the prosecution, according to the indictments.
The robbery charge, which includes the Lee brothers as well as Laphonso Rashad Porter, alleges that the three knowingly and violently took cash, cell phones, and a video game controller from another victim, making him afraid for his life between September 7 and October 7, 2014.
Porter and the Lee brothers have addresses listed on Wakefield Road.
“This investigation remains ongoing; no additional charges are pending, and no further information is available for release at this time,” the press release said.
