Getting “better control” of Anderson County government will be the focus of an Anderson County Tea Party meeting on Tuesday, a press release said.
Mark DeVol will be the featured speaker.
The monthly meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, at the Clinton Church of God at 635 Hillcrest Street in Clinton.
Organizers expect to have the Anderson County mayor and a couple of the county commissioners, the press release said.
“Please come prepared to be educated and with questions,” the release said.

Mark Caldwell says
Wonder what tea partiers mean by getting “better control” of county government? Does it mean more lawsuits or storming out of public meetings?
One might think that the tea partiers in this county could benefit by attending the DAR meeting where the separation of government powers will be discussed.
