Anderson County budget workshops, meeting dates

Anderson County has scheduled budget workshops and meetings for the fiscal year that starts July 1.

There will be no motions made during the budget workshops. Instead, they will include only discussion and formulation.

The workshops will be held in Room 312 in the Anderson County Courthouse in Clinton at these times:

  • Tuesday, April 28—5 p.m.;
  • Thursday, April 30—5 p.m.; and
  • Tuesday, May 5—5 p.m.

On Tuesday, May 7, after the regular Budget Committee, there will be a vote on the final submission of the budget to the full Anderson County Commission.

If needed, there will be a vote on final submission of the budget to the full Commission at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 14.

There will be a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28.

The budget will be presented to the County Commission for its consideration on Monday, June 15.
