David Mosby is seeking re-election to the Oak Ridge City Council in the November 4 municipal election.
“I am ready to continue my service to the citizens,†Mosby said in a press release.
Mosby was first elected to Council in 2001, and he said he remains committed to listening and acting to make Oak Ridge a great place to live, work, and visit.
“His Council record reflects a thoughtful and balanced approach to decision making based on his concern for people, fiscal responsibility, and support for new initiatives that enhance our quality of life,” the press release said. “He is active in the community and holds the belief that ‘We become better by working together!'”
As a project manager, Mosby knows that innovation and the efficient allocation of scarce resources is the key to achieving desired results, the release said.
“The city has recently experienced some economic development success, but continues to face growing demands from its programs and deteriorating infrastructure,” Mosby said. “Council must be open to creative new ideas in providing support for our schools and strategic development projects.”
Mosby said he wants to let everyone know that he is “ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead and is enthusiastic about our future.â€
Mosby is married to Donna and they have four children: Brittany, Tyler, MaKenzie, and Riley.
