A marketing director for a local accounting firm will give a presentation on improving your LinkedIn profile during an Oct. 3 seminar for the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce.
The seminar will feature Cindy Hagemann, marketing director for Pugh CPAs. Her presentation is titled “10 Simple Steps to Improve Your Linked In Profile.” Hagemann has been teaching LinkedIn classes since 2008, a press release said.
This seminar, part of a monthly chamber seminar series, will be held from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Anderson County Chamber office at 245 N. Main St., Suite #200, in Clinton.
“Most business people have a LinkedIn Profile; however, many of them do not know how to use the program to their advantage,” the press release said. “This workshop will teach you in 10 simple steps why it is important to have an updated profile. Additionally, you will learn some proper business uses for the platform whether it be for job hunting or business networking.”
The press release said it is highly recommended that you have a LinkedIn profile set up before attending. Attendees may also bring their laptop or tablet. Space is limited, and reservations are required by Oct. 2.
