An Oak Ridge man has admitted that he forced his girlfriend to have sex several times and that he had sex with her without her consent or knowledge while she was sleeping Friday, authorities said.
Reginald Donat Telcy, 26, was arrested Sunday. He has been charged with one count of rape. He remained jailed at the Anderson County Detention Facility in Clinton on Tuesday morning, and his bond has been set at $75,000.
An arrest warrant filed in Anderson County General Sessions Court said the woman alleged that Telcy has raped and sexually assaulted her several times during the past two years, including early Friday morning at the apartment they share.
Telcy allegedly admitted in a conversation captured by a laptop camera that he had raped the woman, the warrant said. Oak Ridge Police Department Officer Ben Higgins said Telcy knew the conversation, which allegedly occurred before police were called Sunday, was being recorded.
Telcy has a court hearing scheduled for 1 p.m. April 23.
