The Oak Ridge Lady Wildcats had a blowout 67-23 win over Clinton at home on Thursday.
Oak Ridge (16-2, 4-1 District 3-AAA) outscored Clinton 25-1 in the first quarter and continued to outscore the Lady Dragons in the next three quarters.
The Lady Wildcats were led by senior guard Jada Guinn, who scored 22 points, including 12 in the second quarter.
Sophomore guard Khamari Mitchell-Steen added 15 points for Oak Ridge, including three three-point shots.
Oak Ridge senior forward Shatyrah Copeland contributed 10 points, with eight of those in the first quarter, and junior guard Raja Eckles scored six.
Clinton (11-5, 3-3) was led by senior Nikki Jones with seven points. Senior Danyel Joy and sophomore Jazmine Moore each scored five.
The Lady Wildcats play another district game, this one against Central (5-10, 1-5), at Wildcat Arena at 6 p.m. Saturday.
