Rachel Lokitz, interim general counsel and corporate secretary for ORAU, has been promoted to vice president and general counsel.
In her new role, Lokitz provides ORAU’s programs and internal business clients with counsel concerning legal rights, contractual obligations, compliance, and risk.

Her accomplished legal expertise combined with her extensive business management and teamwork skills has made Rachel a critical asset for our organization. We all congratulate her and will look forward to continue working with her in this new position,†said Andy Page, president and chief executive officer.
Lokitz was corporate secretary and associate general counsel for ORAU for eight years before being named to her new role.
Lokitz received a bachelor’s degree in science from Millsaps College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She received a master’s certificate in government contracting from the George Washington School of Business.
Lokitz participates in a variety of professional and community activities, including serving on the board of directors for CONTACT Care Line. She is a member of the U.S. Department of Energy Contractor Attorneys’ Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. Lokitz was named one of the Greater Knoxville Business Journal’s 2018 “40 Under 40†honorees.
