Soccer: Wildcats fight back to beat Halls

The Oak Ridge Wildcats traveled to Halls on Thursday to face the Red Devils.

Halls scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the district soccer game.

The Wildcats fought back to answer with four goals to take the lead 4-1 at halftime.

Goal scorers included senior Austin Vinyard, junior Carson McGhee, and sophomore Nathan Kidder.

The second half continued with the Wildcats dominating play and scoring three more goals, including one from Vinyard and one each from sophomore John Belbeck and freshman Jonathan Rodriquez.

The final score was 7-1.

The Wildcats play at Anderson County on Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by a match at Clinton on Friday at 6 p.m.
