The Third Annual “Divas for a Cure” Relay for Life event is Saturday, March 4, in Oak Ridge.

It’s sponsored by Team Got Hope, and it is scheduled from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at High Places Community Church in the Grove Center in Oak Ridge.

Admission is $30 per diva, a press release said, and it will include:

  • Entry to the event
  • Lunch buffet
  • Mimosa bar (two per diva), and
  • Four tickets for use at a pampering station of your choice.

All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society, the press release said.

Pampering stations to choose from will include nails, hair, henna, makeup, and many others.

“All specially prepared to pamper the diva in you!” the press release said. “Again this year we will be treated to a fashion show, featuring area merchants with fashion ideas for spring, and of course the popular purse pull will make a return appearance! New this year we will have the listening pleasure during the event to be entertained by music of a local band…Mark your calendars for March 4, grab your diva friends, and plan for a day of pampering and fabulous fun for a wonderful cause!”

For more information on the event, to be a sponsor, or to be a volunteer that day, contact Kim Monroe (865) 438-5334, Lynda Vinyard at (865) 556-1355, or Margo Davis at (865) 803-8662.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
