    Looking at the photos, it becomes obvious that Coach Martin “adopted” Kingsport’s colors for Oak Ridge.

      I’m pretty sure that Coach Gaddis has talked a bit about the historical relationship between Oak Ridge and D-B, which I recall includes the colors, as one reason he wanted these two teams to play each other, starting last year.

      I didn’t really pay attention to the colors in Kingsport last year. I was more in awe of their stadium. It seemed more like a college stadium than a high school stadium.
