            My “point” is
The mayor wanted her on the committee because he knew she would be responsible with OUR money.
The previous parks and rec director could not give exact totals on the festival when it was requested.
Perhaps there should have been a committee to oversee the spending on the marina bathrooms.

Ms. Mabry, Maybe there should also be a committee to oversee currant and former council members that like to micromanage city staff, play big games of small ball and constantly attempt to make mountains out of mole hills. There is a large percentage of citizens in our city that have grown tired of the small group of negatively motivated individuals that are just not themselves unless they have something to complain about. All we want is for them to stop waisting our time and tax dollars. I get the part about “Every Penny Counts” but every minute and dollar count too, don’t you know. I hope the special events board is successful. However, l have no reason to believe it will be. Have a great weekend. Thank you.

As far as Every Penny Counts, that train ran off the tracks back in February.

Again, an audit was done. Everything was legit.

Where can citizens get the financial reports for the last 2 Secret City Festivals?

was there an actual audit done or just a verbal report on their findings?

            LOL why is she yelling?

That’s what I thought. You couldn’t pay me a million dollars to be on that board. I remember the night he “appointed” her. He, along with the majority in that room didn’t think anyone would want to work with her. LOL Unfortunately, at that time, I was one of the few that listened to her. Thank God I decided to research on my own that week and find out the truth about several things. The most important lesson was to never believe anything that comes out of Trina’s mouth. Another was to realize she has an agenda and personal vendetta against certain people and will stop at nothing to get her way.

She is despicable in every sense of the word. I question the motives and intelligence of anyone that continues to defend her.

Btw, did she ever apologize to Chief Akagi for publicly trying to ruin his reputation with her blatant lies about his non-existent legal problems?

An excellent recollection of the circumstances of her appointment, those circumstances that Ms. Baughn’s fervent supporters like Ms. Mabry seem to forget. Does anyone else find it the least bit odd that the recommendations of the committee follow exactly the previous positions taken by Ms. Baughn? Were the rest of the committee brow beaten into going along with them? And now I’ve read elsewhere that Ms Baughn’s recommended candidate to be on the new non-profit’s board apparently is related to Terry Frank, has lived in Oak Ridge for less than a year, and maybe isn’t even a registered voter. I’ll leave it to the reader to reach their own conclusion.

Thanks, the following month she was hollering for the Sergeant in Arms to remove me. Lol The Mayor got on her for being rude to me. Haha
