U.S. Senator Bob Corker is visiting six Tennessee counties, and the trip includes stops in Clinton, Knoxville, and Kingston on Tuesday.
The statewide travel started in Chattanooga on Saturday at the Department of Navy Memorial Service to honor the service members tragically killed in the July attack.
During Tuesday’s stops, Corker, a Tennessee Republican, will visit with business and community leaders.
On Wednesday, Corker will be back in Hamilton County, where he will attend the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting.
During the trip, Corker is hearing from Tennesseans and discussing his work to address some of the major challenges facing our country, a press release said. The travel includes stops in Hamilton, Knox, Anderson, Roane, Madison, and Chester counties.
On Thursday, Corker will travel to Jackson to meet with young professionals in Madison County. Later that afternoon, he will drop by a meeting of community leaders in Chester County.
Corker is chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, and he also serves on the Banking Committee and Budget Committee.
