The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Tennessee Valley Authority are releasing the TVA Kingston Fossil Plant Coal Ash Release Natural Resource Damage Assessment—Restoration and Compensation Determination Plan for public review during a public meeting on Thursday, April 9.

What: A presentation will be given at the public meeting. Following the presentation, a question-and-answer period will be held.

A 30-day public comment period will be held through April 17. Written comments may be sent to Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Natural Resource Trustee Program, Attention: Debbie Duren, 761 Emory Valley Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The organizations will address public comments and will document responses to those comments as part of the final Evaluation for this site.
