Jeffrey David Crouse

Jeffrey David Crouse

Jeffrey David Crouse, age 56, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, December 8, at his home.

He was born July 9, 1958, in Oak Ridge, the son of David Jones Crouse and Jean Johnson Crouse, who are both deceased.

Jeffrey graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1976 and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in transportation, from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation, he worked for many years as a regional transportation manager for ConAgra Foods Inc., serving in Omaha, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; and Houston, Texas.

Upon moving back to this area, he decided to change careers and became a master plumber and worked for a couple of Knoxville-area plumbing contractors before accepting a position with Parkwest Medical Center.

Jeffrey was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed working on cars, auto racing, and NASCAR. He also looked forward to spending time with his nephew, Nicholas.

He is survived by his brother, Douglas Johnson Crouse and wife Ann of Flowery Branch, Georgia; 10-year-old nephew, Nicholas Crouse; and numerous cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary. Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a local Humane Society of the donor’s choice.

An online guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.
