Professionally, he is the chief executive officer of Tobler Enterprises and the managing partner for the CRWC partnership. He is a licensed general contractor and a licensed real estate agent, with Linda Brown Realty.
Eric and his wife Kristen, who works in communications at Bechtel, both grew up in Oak Ridge and have three daughters. The oldest, Haley, graduated from Oak Ridge in 2011 and is a home owner in the city. Their other daughters, Caroline and Hannah, currently attend Oak Ridge High School.
He believes and stresses the importance of community commitment and service. “I am running for City Council to help bring this town together and realize its full potential,” Tobler said. “It has so much to offer, but many don’t see it, because of varying priorities and different strategies. If the leadership, staff, and citizens unite in revitalizing our town, the sky is the limit. I hope you will let me be a part of its success.â€
