Oak Ridge High School girls basketball coach David Scott has released information on the girls basketball camp.
Here is the information:
Location:Â All camps will be held in the Oak Ridge High School Wildcat Arena at 127 Providence Road.
The Elite Academy
Dates and times: June 23, 24, and 25 from 12-2 p.m.
Cost: Pre-registration (one week prior to first day of camp)—$55; walk-up—$65
The Elite Academy will be an upbeat, focused two hours that will be focused on improving the fundamentals that lead to better players at their level. Activities will be drills they can use later on their own. Players will also learn about an array of offensive moves and take part in competitions. Time will be spent on defensive fundamentals, ball handling, and also discuss fitness and nutrition.
Girls Skill Development Camp (Rising fourth to eighth graders)
Dates and times: June 23, 24, and 25 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Cost: Pre-registration (one week prior to first day of camp)—$75; walk-up—$85
The Girls Skill Development Camp will focus on teaching and improving individual basketball skills. The camp will be energetic and fun. Players will work on all aspects of offensive and defensive skills. There will also be games and competitions.
The camp fee includes a camp T-shirt.
