    John Huotari,
Does the StudioPress/WordPress framework have mapping functionality, where when you enter an address or even just a street name in an article it will give you an option to make it a clickable maps link? Just wondering. I highlight a street, right-click, and select Search Google and then click Maps in a lot of articles so I know where an article is talking about.
I do appreciate that you put general location references in a lot of your articles by the way, it is very helpful!

I can embed a map, and it’s not difficult to do. We just haven’t come up with a good policy of when we might do this for crime stories. But you’ve given me an idea. The ORPD uses the RAIDS Online system, and it maps crimes by blocks, but not specific addresses. It might be useful to see if we can sometimes embed that map in order to show the general location.

Embedded or RAIDS maps would be great John, but I was thinking something simpler too. Like when you’re writing the article you being able to highlight text and select a “Make Map link” option. For this article it would create a linked Wadsworth Place entry that readers could click, and it opens the following in a new window/tab: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Wadsworth+Place,+Oak+Ridge,+TN&hl=en&z=15 . I would think that by now StudioPress/WordPress would have that built-in for you.
        Thanks for what you do!
