The executive director of an organization that helps the homeless has been elected president of the Young Professionals of Oak Ridge.
Zabrina Minor is the organizationâ€™s new president. She is also executive director of Trinity Out-Reach Center of Hope, or TORCH.
Other leaders elected during the YPOR’s January business meeting are Aaron Holbrook as vice president and Thomas Dyke as secretary/treasurer.
In an e-mail message, Dyke said the YPOR has kept its committee structure, and the chairs are:
- Community Involvement: Courtney Dyer
- Social/Membership: Michael Stokes
- Professional Development: Saba Seaver.
Dyke said YPOR will have a team in the Bowl For Kid’s Sake, which is a Big Brothers Big Sisters event on Feb. 26 at the Oak Ridge Bowling Center.
Next week, the Young Professionals will have its monthly social at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Aubreyâ€™s.
