Michael Rhodes, age 62, of Louisville, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at his residence.
Mike was very giving and kind-hearted. He adored his boys and grandkids. Mike enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Helen Rhodes; stepmom, Judy Rhodes; daughter, Tammy Braden; and sister, Vickie Hunckler.
Mike is survived by his wife, Rosalind Rhodes of Louisville; mother of his children, Fay Rhodes of Lake City; sons, Michael Timothy Rhodes of Greenville, Tenn., Matthew Todd Rhodes of Corryton, Tenn., and Jason Derick Rhodes of Knoxville; stepdaughter, Robin Millsaps of Maryville; sister, Angie Rhodes; grandchildren, Tyler Braden, Tonya Braden, Nikkie Rhodes, Michael Rhodes Jr., Aliyah Rhodes, Tommy Rhodes, Justin Rhodes, and Brandon Jones; great-grandchild, Anthony Braden; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mike’s family will receive his friends on Monday, Dec. 2, from 5–7 p.m., with his funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Scott Hill officiating. Mike’s interment will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
