Join the Friends of the Clinton Public Library as they host Jeff Bianchi to perform an hour-long classical guitar concert at 6 p.m. Monday.

The date is part of Bianchi’s fall performance schedule, which includes concerts in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Bianchi’s skill has earned him performances at the Rantucci International Guitar Festival, the Ithaca Guitar Festival, and a special concert in conjunction with the National Old Time Fiddlers’ Competition, a press release said.

On coming to Clinton, Bianchi said: “I am very grateful and excited to have the opportunity to perform for a new audience. I have always enjoyed visiting new places while introducing people to the classical guitar.”

The concert will include music by Leo Brouwer, Issac Albeniz, and Jose Luis Merlin.

For more information, contact the Clinton Public Library or visit Bianchi’s website at http://www.velvetguitar.com/.
