Elizabeth Beeler, 95, of Oak Ridge, went to be with Jesus on Oct. 25, 2013.
She was born to parents George Arthur and Osie Kleeper Altom in Talbott, Tenn.
Elizabeth was a member of Royce Baptist Church and a former member of Marble City Baptist Church in Knoxville. Beth was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard and caring for her beautiful flowers, as well as receiving much pleasure caring for her neighbors.
Her survivors include her daughter, Betty Eldridge of Knoxville; sons, Bob Beeler and wife Linda of Oliver Springs, and Milton Beeler and wife Karen of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Steve Eldridge and wife Tina of Knoxville, Amy Rigney and husband Bryan of Oliver Springs, Mandy Beeler of Knoxville, Tiffany Hanks of Oak Ridge, and Allison Williams and husband Jason of Oak Ridge; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Beeler was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Ora Beeler, on Nov. 16, 1985, and by grandson, David Eldridge.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. at Royce Baptist Church in Oak Ridge with Rev. Mike Harbin officiating. The graveside service was held at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
