Sound Company, the Children’s Performing Choir of Oak Ridge, will be hosting auditions for the 2013-2014 school year starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at High Places Community Church in Grove Center.

The organization is primarily seeking boys and girls in first and second grades as well as boys in grades three through twelve, a press release said. Girls in grades three through twelve are welcome to audition, but there are limited openings.

Singers should come to auditions with a prepared song. They may sing a capella, with a CD, or provide music for an accompanist. To schedule an audition, or for more information, visit the Sound Company website at www.soundcompanytn.net or contact Janelle Bell at (865) 387-1583.

Sound Company presents two fully staged and choreographed shows each year. Rehearsals are held on Monday afternoons during the school year.
