Letter: Thanks Mayor Frank for ‘standing up’ for Anderson County people

To the Editor:

I just wanted to thank Mayor Terry Frank for standing up for the people of Anderson County.

Mayor Frank has been in office since September 2012, and she stepped into a very dysfunctional, unorganized “business” that needs a lot of cleanup and reorganization.

Terry Frank is the best mayor, in my opinion, that Anderson County has ever had, and I have lived here all of my life (with the exception of a few years). I have seen her stand up to the county commissioners at the meetings more than once and expect she will continue to do so when necessary. That is more than any other Mayor that has been in office that I have seen has done in many years.

I truly believe under Mayor Frank’s leadership Anderson County can and will be one of the best counties in the state of Tennessee. She has a lot of work to do to clean, organize, etc., the mess that the county is in, and this is one mayor that isn’t afraid of work.

I think Anderson County is so lucky to have Terry Frank as mayor and just want to thank her for all her hard work so far. Kudos to Mayor Frank for doing what she said she would do.

I wish the people of Anderson County would show up at the County Commission meetings each month to hear for themselves what their representatives are doing, saying, and voting for. If more people would get out and get involved in what is actually happening in the county, we could be the best county in the state of Tennessee. The next commission meeting is Monday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m in Room 312 of the Anderson County Courthouse.

After listening to the George Korda show today at noon ,State Your Case.
I am convinced that Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank has done a very good job of saving Taxpayers money. After all of the recent attacks by disgruntled former Mayor Iwanski and his comments that seemed to be the same as the false allegations by commissioner Chuck Fritts,I am convinced that this is just a case of dirty politics by a few commissioners that do not want a a productive leader like Mayor Terry Frank to succeed. Why? That should now be the question that we all seek to answer. Why would they drill holes in the boat instead of helping to row?Maybe they just want to be in power so much they don’t mind using the politics of personal destruction to regain their previous status. If that’s their motive ,I think they are just wrong in their approach. It’s apparent to most people in Anderson County that Mayor Frank is about doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.
