An Oak Ridge teenager is accused of repeatedly hitting his girlfriend’s father in the face early Saturday morning, and the man was lying unconscious in a Robertsville Road yard when officers arrived, authorities said.

The man had severe injuries to his face, and his facial bones were probably fractured, Oak Ridge Police Department Officer John Thomas said in affidavits filed in Anderson County General Sessions Court.

The teenager, Donnie J. Lecomte, 19, of Wilberforce Avenue, has been charged with aggravated assault, and he remained jailed Monday evening. Lecomte has a Feb. 19 court date.

A witness said Lecomte sat on top of the victim, used his knees to pin the man’s arms to the ground, and repeatedly struck him in the face, the affidavits said.

Lecomte allegedly fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance later “within minutes of officers being sent to the area.”

Lecomte allegedly admitted to being in a fight with the victim.
