Michael Powers, age 54, of Maynardville, formerly of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Powers, and brother, Darrell Powers.
Michael is survived by his mother, Betty Powers; son, Chris McClung of Andersonville; daughters, Samantha Powers of Halls, Regina Powers of Knoxville, and Brittany Powers of Halls; and brothers, Randy and Archie Powers of Clinton.
Michael’s family received friends on Dec. 28. His funeral service followed with Rev. Marty Stooksbury officiating. Michael’s interment was Dec. 29 at Foust Cemetery in Lake City.
Jones Mortuary in Clinton was in charge of all arrangements.
