Oliver Springs police seized almost 15 pounds of marijuana, several firearms, and drug paraphernalia during a raid at a home on Wilson Road on Sunday night, according to WYSH Radio in Clinton.
WYSH reported that police found 13 firearms, several boxes of ammunition, two homemade gun silencers, two vehicles, and paraphernalia including scales and assorted equipment that could be used to grow marijuana.
The radio station said three people were arrested: William Phillips, 44; Hannah Phillips, 22; and Benjamin Davis, 20. They were taken to the Roane County Jail on drug and weapons charges, WYSH said.
Police reported that the two younger suspects told investigators they would sell and deliver marijuana in Oliver Springs, and that the pot belonged to William Phillips, Hannah’s father, WYSH said. All three face charges of selling marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and William Phillips is also facing weapons charges in the case.
The radio station said authorities found lights used to grow marijuana indoors at the home and seized two vehicles.
