Robert “Bobby” Marion Gross Jr., a native of Oak Ridge, recently passed away.
Bobby was born to parents, Robert M. Gross Sr. and Frances Gross, on July 22, 1975. Bobby was residing in Knoxville at the time of his death.
Bobby was of the Church of Christ faith.
Bobby was a loving father to Georgia Kelly Gross, 16, of Noblesville, Ind. She was the light and love of his life.
In addition to his parents and daughter, Bobby is survived by two sisters, Misty Dawn Robbins and Cynthia Carol Robbins, and his beloved nephew, Jordan Chase Robbins. He also leaves behind Jody Scott, mother of Georgia, and many family members and friends that loved him very much.
Bobby was a partner in the family business, Snappy Tomato Pizza, located in Oak Ridge. He was the original “dough boy” when the restaurant opened, making sure everything was the best it could be.
Bobby’s favorite hobby, other than spending time with his daughter and nephew, was fishing. We hope he’s fishing now. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
The family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Highland View Church of Christ at 138 Providence Road in Oak Ridge. A memorial service followed at the church at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Georgia Kelly Gross College Fund at the Enrichment Federal Credit Union, PO Box 883, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0883.
