A concert that was scheduled for tonight and expected to feature East Tennessee reggae band the Natti Love Joys has been rescheduled for Aug. 24, Oak Ridge Mayor Tom Beehan said.

The free shows are at A.K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge.

The shows, presented by the Arts Council of Oak Ridge and sponsored by the City of Oak Ridge, start at 7 p.m. The Natti Love Joys show was scheduled to be the fifth show in this year’s Secret City Sounds concert series.

Previous shows have featured Jenna and the Accidentals, Aftah Party, the United States Air Force Band of Mid America with the ensemble Startlifter, and Jenn Cristy.

Soul Candy and the Traffic Jam will play the next show on Aug. 17.

The Secret City Sounds concert series is now in its fourth season.

I can handle a delay for the Love Joys, but missing the opener is tough!

That’s the band featuring Tom Beehan and Steve Reddick and Scott Linn and a few other people I can’t remember right now, right?
