Aubree Marie Carson: Born and Died June 18, 2012

My Dearest Daughter,

I wanted so much to be your Mommy. I have loved and wanted you from the very beginning. You, whose heartbeat I heard at each doctor’s visit. You, who finally turned off the morning sickness on my birthday. You, who kicked and kept me awake at night. You, who made me crave soft shell tacos and gave me heartburn and leg cramps. You, who I watched grow through the ultrasound videos. You were so beautiful. You were perfectly formed with a head full of dark hair. Your hands and feet were like mine. You only weighed 1 pound, 14 ounces, and were 13 1/2 inches long.

You were taken too soon; causes unknown to man. Only God knows why. I pray for his peace and find comfort knowing you’re in Heaven with Granny Shelby, Granny J, and Nina.

I will never forget you. I will hold dear these bittersweet memories of our time together. I loved you. I love you still. My heart will go on loving you forever.

Aubree is survived by her mother, Jill Marie Carson; grandparents, Tommy and Johanna Cox, Sam Carson, J.T. Jackson, Sammie and Jackie Carson, Bobbie Carson; and an uncle, Steve Carson, all of Coalfield; as well as a host of extended aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and special friends.
